And the winner is…

Catherine and her new TVCongratulations go to Catherine Agca! Catherine was the very lucky winner of our reverse text auction and ended up buying our £700 LCD TV for the paltry sum of 6 pence! Feel free to rub your eyes because it sounds insane, but I can assure you that it is entirely true. We caught up with Catherine for a quick chat after we announced the good news. I'd say that she was speechless, but if that were true, we wouldn't have had much of an interview! Terrible, I know.

Laskys: Catherine, congratulations on picking up this brilliant TV for just 6 pence! How do you like it?

Catherine: It's wonderful! It's really brilliant. We've had it in the lounge since last week and it's great to watch the soaps on and the X factor. My husband's just bought an action film on DVD to watch, so he'll be enjoying that.

L: It sounds like you're making the most of it already. How did you find out about the auction in the first place?

C: My husband told me about it. He found it on Laskys and we were looking for a new LCD or plasma TV anyway to replace our 11 year old fat TV. We saw it and thought we'd just give it a go as new TVs are quite expensive. I've never entered a text auction before, but I'm definitely going to be entering any more that I see.

L: Did you only enter once?

C: No, we entered about 3 times. Third time lucky!

L: Certainly sounds like it! Any other closing comments?

C: Just wanted to say a big thank you to Laskys! I was so shocked when you phoned to tell me the news, but the service throughout was excellent and of course, it got delivered without a problem.

L: Thanks Catherine, really pleased to hear that you're enjoying your new TV. Have fun following the X Factor!

So there you have it, our winner. I couldn't have imagined a worthier winner. Keep your eyes peeled for a new reverse auction on Laskys. We're working as hard as we can to get more prizes, so there's a chance that you too can buy an expensive bit of equipment for pennies.
