There are 2 different types of heating methods for gas ovens - traditional UK style and Continental style. Continental ovens have the heat source underneath the base of the oven, so the hottest part of the oven is the bottom. In UK style gas ovens hot air moves around the oven and the hottest part of the oven is the top. See instruction book for details. |
